As Project Engineer Mineral Processing, you will have a challenging multidisciplinary role. You will be part of a professional team that supports global customers in developing mineral processing solutions. This includes the initial design and supply of equipment through to the implementation and optimisation of processes at one of our customers' sites.

In this role as Project Engineer Mineral Processing, you will support our sales and marketing, and business and product development activities. You will translate customer needs and develop these into process flow diagrams, mass balances and the conceptual design of the equipment. This will include participating in advisory trajectories and requires an open mind. In addition, you will collaborate intensively with different departments of IHC Mining, as well as with other Royal IHC units around the world. You will be predominantly involved in our Mineral Processing Development programme. This focuses on the research and development activities of various physical separation technologies, and in the setup and application of test facilities.

Requirements
To be eligible for the position of Project Engineer Mineral Processing, you must have:
  • higher vocational education (HBO) and/or an academic higher education (WO) in mineral processing, metallurgy and/or chemical engineering (or similar)
  • one to three years relevant experience in minerals processing
  • excellent communication skills in Dutch and English language verbal and written
  • independent, proactive, self-starting, team player, result-driven
  • hands-on mentality, qualitative mindset and a high degree of integrity.
